This Law shall regulate the legal status of companies, and in particular their incorporation, managing, status changes, changes of legal form, dissolution and other issues relevant for their status, as well as the legal status of entrepreneurs.

The provisions hereof shall also apply to all forms of businesses operation that are established and conducted under a separate law, unless otherwise provided by that law.

    A company acquires the status of a legal person through registration in accordance with the law governing the registration of commercial entities (hereinafter referred to as the Law on Registration).
